My college magazine cover and content page

Evaluation of my own college magazine cover and content page-
Using the questionnaire I gave what the students wanted by putting headings in for example sports page, college events i.e. parties, jobs, and music and fashion pages all in the content page, laying out the headings in bold and a distinctive colour (green). I used one specific colour so the page isn’t over flowed with loads of different colours. On my college magazine front cover it shows the model in a mid-shot pose looking at a subject book. Having the sketchbook as a prop makes the cover a more intelligent and student magazine. The location is also perfect being in a hall way full of lockers knowing he is in an educational environment. The name of my magazine is titled called ‘col’ to show it’s obviously meant for a young teenage audience because it’s short for college. The subheading is ‘inside col’ showing what’s in the magazine for instance col events, exam dates, sports, latest music and fashion new look to show what students are in to. Lastly before are started designing my magazine I researched proper college magazines and analysed the student magazine ‘college lifestyle’ this was very helpful with my ideas towards creating my own.
